The handles do not tuck neatly into the cap as pictured on the site- the wood is larger than the cap at that joint. This makes a sharp, uncomfortable corner at the top of the handle that's quite unfriendly to the hand doing rolls. Having virtually no taper, they have no particular balance either. Not a fine weapon. This is 45 years of experience speaking, here; I used to teach.

Super nice quality for the price! Highly recommend for more advanced users, for beginners get the foam padding ones as it well help lessen the impact if you you were to hit yourself by accident !
