Tips and Suggestions

Unlike the other sparring gears, the head gear must fit perfectly. Being the most important part of your body that takes impact, the head has to be secured, and a tad bit tight, to protect from the impact. Please measure the head with a measuring tape and choose according to the size chart.

For children/early teenagers, it is normal for the headgear to be of larger size than the other sparring gears. This is because a child's head tends to develop faster than the rest of the body until the adolescent period.

Usually, forearm guards match glove sizes, and if you are planning to wear the arm guard over sleeves, you may need to order one size larger.

Tips and Suggestions

Shinguards are designed to cover from your anklebone to your kneecap. Measure the distance approximately one inch from the bottom of the knee, to about one inch above the ankle bone. The shinguards should not rub against the kneecap when moving.

One of the most sensitive parts of the body, you want to be sure you receive adequate protection. Keep in mind that purchasing a protector that is either too small or too large will hinder your movement, and may be extremely uncomfortable.
